Description

Gaviscon Extra Strength forms a protective layer over the stomach contents, which helps prevent acid coming back up into the oesophagus (food pipe).
Gaviscon Extra Strength contains double the concentration of sodium alginate compared with original Gaviscon. As such Gaviscon Extra Strength can help alleviate more frequent symptoms of heartburn.

Dosage and Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended for children under 12 years. The maximum total daily intake (8 tablets) for adults contains 984mg of sodium (take into account if on a low sodium diet) and 4.1g mannitol. Products containing mannitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrohea. Contains Phenylalanine, aspartame, mannitol, sulphites and sodium. Contains gluten from wheat (less than 20ppm).
